NDIS and Core Support

We have heard recently that there is some confusion regarding home delivered meals being included in your NDIS package. The great news is, with NDIS and The Good Meal Co, care providers can support clients to maintain an independent lifestyle by helping to co-ordinate the home delivery of fully prepared meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 

This means that as an NDIS recipient, you are eligible to receive ready prepared meals, delivered to your door, partially funded by your NDIS package. 

The NDIS line item is 01_022_0120_1_1 and it comes under Core Supports, assistance with daily life. For NDIS recipients ordering from The Good Meal Co, the co-payment for meals can start as low as $1.50. We offer an extensive menu of delicious food for breakfast, lunch, dinner as well as some very tasty desserts and snacks. 

The cost of the meal preparation and delivery is covered by your NDIS Core Support.

NDIS recipients only need to pay for the costs of ingredients.  Ingredient costs are paid for by the recipient (as per the NDIS) and we collect that co-payment directly from the NDIS. Clients can pay their co-payment by debit or credit card or PayPal.
