We’d like to update you on the precautions we’re taking here at The Good Meal Co. and how we can help our NDIS and Aged Care customers with healthy meals delivered during this time.
First and foremost, the health and safety of our staff and customers is our top priority.
We place immense value in the trust the NDIS and Aged Care community gives us to deliver safe, pre-prepared meals and take this responsibility seriously.
In light of this, we have implemented a number of additional, proactive health and safety measures to ensure we can continue to provide our customers with the best, and safest, meal delivery experience possible.
ZERO CONTACT DELIVERY
Customers will have the choice of a ‘Zero Contact Delivery’. This means we will still deliver your meals like usual, but you can ask our customer care team to ensure there is no direct contact between you and our delivery team.
REINFORCED HYGIENE AND HANDLING
Our facility is certified to the highest food safety standards including HACCP and SQF. We are always vigilant with our rigorous hygiene and handling procedures throughout all stages of our meal preparation, cooking and packaging. This includes regular hand washing and sanitising, routine equipment and surface sanitisation, swabbing food contact surfaces and wearing personal protective equipment including hair nets, gloves and coats when in contact with any food or ingredients.
STAFF HEALTH AND SAFETY
We are working closely with health authorities to ensure we are in the best position to minimise the spread of infection of COVID-19. This includes:
- Mandatory staff training on COVID-19
- Any employees who are unwell and have any COVID-19-like symptoms are not permitted on site until they have received the relevant medical clearance.
- Daily communication to share the most up-to-date information from government and health authorities to keep staff informed.
KEEPING YOU INFORMED
We believe our customers deserve to feel as safe and comfortable as possible when ordering from us. As supermarkets become increasingly harder to navigate for those who are the most vulnerable in the community, we want to ensure that we are doing our bit to help support those through these uncertain times.
